Could worm brains, electronic neurons, and other ideas from neuroscience lead to better AI? I just got my copy of this month’s Science News with a feature story I wrote about neuromorphic computing. “Neuromorphic” is a mouthful of a word that means “brain-like.” Neuromorphic computing is already helping us to better understand biological brains. But I wrote this story because I was intrigued by how this field might transform AI.
